Cloud data storage is a key component of any cloud computer. The Private Planet® personal cloud computer platform uses the storage for both storing personal digital data as well as service specific data stored either as files or database entries in the personal cloud computer database.
Files on the Private Planet® are stored in folders in both personal digital communities. Both files and folders can be exp.
Typical user functions related to cloud-based storage are:
- Download file from Private Planet cloud disk to mobile device
- Download file from Private Planet cloud disk to PC
- Upload file or photo from mobile device to Private Planet cloud disk
- Upload file from PC to Private Planet cloud disk
- Print file from Planet disk directly to a printer that is connected to a Planet-connected PC
- Send file stored on the Cloud computer via e-mail to a contact
